Paris, Tenn.—The weather was perfect for today’s history tours in downtown Paris as part of Downtown Paris Week. Led by Ray Harding, the tours highlighted stories such as: the midnight stage robbery, how the courthouse clock was originally operated with horse shoes and more. In photo, Harding is telling one of the groups about the history of the courthouse. On Thursday evening, Songwriters on the Square will begin at 6 p.m. on the courthouse lawn and will spotlight local musicians and their songs. (Shannon McFarlin photo).
