Historical Society “Show And Tell” A Lively Session

Paris, Tenn.—Ira Grisham displays artifacts he found after a railroad crash years ago to members of the Paris-Henry County Historical Society at its ‘Show and Tell’ session Thursday night. The session was a lively one, with several members showing local mementos including a Paris City Directory from 1922 listing every occupant of Paris; a Grove School scrapbook from 1925; Cottage Grove photo scrapbooks from the early 1900s, the typewriter the late County Historian W.O. Inman used to write “Pen Sketches” and other local history books, as well as his notes and research and first editions of books on the Civil War published in 1885. (Shannon McFarlin photo).
