HCHS Birthday Weekend

Paris, Tenn.–Henry County High School will observe its 50th anniversary with activities set for the weekend of September 27th-29th. “Several events are being planned for the ‘Happy 50th Birthday HCHS’ weekend, and we invite anyone with a connection to Henry County High School to help us celebrate,” according to Principal Michele Webb. Krider Idol

Paris, Tenn.–The Paris-Henry County Arts Council and Krider Performing Arts Center are teaming up to present Krider Idol on October 12.  Krider Idol is open to youth from all of West Tennessee and any other counties adjoining Henry County in three categories:  ages 9-12 individual talent, ages 13-18 (undergraduate) individual talent and ages 9-18 group talent.

Downtown Paris Spooktacular

Paris, Tenn.– The 14th annual downtown Paris Spooktacular promises a howling good time on the Saturday afternoon, October 19th. Organizations and businesses will provide free crafts, games, entertainment, contests with prizes, live music and concessions from noon until 3 p.m. Downtown merchants invite children to stop by downtown stores to trick or treat during Spooktacular which is sponsored by the Downtown Paris Association. KOA ‘Spooky Kooky Halloween’

Buchanan, Tenn.—The Paris Landing KOA is holding a “Kooky Spooky” event that will be open to all campers as well as the public. The event will be held from 4-7 p.m. Saturday Oct. 19th with Ghoulish Games, a Creepy Costume Contest, Monstrous Mini Golf, Trick or Treating and much more. Free, Fall, Fun, Family Festival At Library

Paris, Tenn.–The W.G. Rhea Public Library in Paris will be hosting a “Free, Fall, Fun, Family Festival” in memory of the late Connie McSwain from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19th. McSwain was the long-time Library Director who died in June. Havoc In Henry County Boxing

Paris, Tenn.–The fifth annual Havoc in Henry County Boxing Tournament will be held Saturday, November 9th at the Central School Building(CAPS) 55 Jones Bend Road Extended, Paris, TN. CASA Chili Cook-Off
