Having A (Bowling) Ball For Special Olympics

Paris, Tenn.—Sixty-four students from every school in Henry County had a blast today participating at the Special Olympics event at Gary Center Bowling in Paris. Both Henry County Schools and the Paris Special Schools District participated for the morning-long annual bowling event and every school sent students as “peer buddies” to assist. The Paris Civitan Club always provides snacks and McDonald’s provides lunches every year to all students. In photos, County Director of Schools Dr. Brian Norton greets students; Caleb Hartman and Juli Aguilar try for strikes; and Joan Cox and Barbara Yancey of Civitan get ready to give out snacks.
