Murray, Ky.–Murray State’s National Public Radio station WKMS announces the appointment of Liam Neimeyer as Ohio Valley Resource Reporter and WKMS Assistant News Director.
Neimeyer covers agriculture and infrastructure in Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia for the OVR, a regional journalism collaborative reporting on economic and social change in our region. WKMS is one of seven public media outlets who have partnered to form the OVR in order to strengthen news coverage of the area’s most important issues. OVR Reports are broadcast each Monday on WKMS.
Niemeyer is a graduate of Ohio University. He has reported for public radio stations across the country from Appalachia to Alaska, most recently as a reporter for WOUB Public Media in Athens, Ohio.
